As a TAANZ bonded travel agent, all money received is held in a client trust account. Funds received for a trip can only be used to pay for that trip. As full payment is not paid to suppliers until required, generally 90 days before departure, we have been able to provide refunds of greater than 90% of the trip cost to all but one 2020 group, and full refunds to our 2021 groups. We continue to work with our international suppliers for one group who were fully committed to travel in April 2020, where some suppliers have only be able to provide a supplier credit.

Due to the nature of school travel we have provided refunds rather than offer credits as senior students would not benefit from a Travel to Learn credit. This decision was made as it could be many years before it is safe for school groups to travel overseas.

Although there is no international travel, Travel to Learn is still operational and will continue to be so. We have been able to reduce our operational and staff costs to a minimum to ensure our long term viability. In the mean time feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

We are currently trialling technology options to support learning in the classroom and to offer the flavour of travel. Watch this space!
