Day 1
New Zealand to New Caledonia. Transfers to hotel on arrival.
Day 2
Full day excursion to Phare Amadée. Just a few minutes by boat from Noumea is Amadée island, a natural marine park on the barrier reef and in the biggest lagoon in the world. It was classified a UNESCO heritage site in 2009.
Day 3
Morning at language school. 3 hours of classes. Petit train tour in the afternoon. A fantastic way to discover Noumea is “Le petit train” which will show students the highlights of Noumea.
Day 4
Morning at language school. 3 hours of classes. Teacher-led excursion to visit places of interest such as Place des Cocotiers, Territorial Museum, The City of Noumea Museum, and St Joseph’s Cathedral.
Day 5
Morning at language school. 3 hours of classes. Guided visit to Tjibaou Cultural Centre. The Tjibaou Cultural Centre is the cultural reference point for the South Pacific and offers visitors a truly unique collection of contemporary art from this region.
Day 6
Morning at language school. 3 hours of classes. Afternoon at Anse Vata/ Baie des citrons. The beaches at Anse Vata and Baie des Citrons are the perfect places for relaxation and other activities.
Day 7
Morning at language school. 3 hours of classes. Teacher led excursion to the aquarium. The aquarium contains species found in New Caledonian waters. It is a great place to see sea snakes, stonefish, turtles and stingrays. The aquarium also has a living coral display.
Day 8
Transfer to airport and return to New Zealand.
